how to know a boy is the son of a framer

Today at lunch, Levi was eating a slice of pizza, and as he took a bite, all the toppings slid off at once. He laughed and said "Mom! The roof came off the pizza!"

it's winter now

Winter has arrived in Winnipeg. We had our first snowfall of the season last Thursday and it was a big one! Luckily, our kids find this first snow quite amusing, so they've been have lots of fun outside. Looks like Levi also finds it relaxing. (hint-go buy your kids some nice sturdy kid-sized shovels and your front porch will stay nice and snow free!)

house projects and margaritas

I thought this was pretty funny. I don't use margarita's to get though my home projects, I can relate to the house in shambles part. Maybe I should try a margarita...

the last few nights...

...have looked like this. Is it her lingering cold? New teeth? We don't know. Does Mommy have a headache? Yes. The second image is dramatic Sadie, hanging her head in a desparate attempt to look extra sad. The last image is the worst quality, but gives you the best idea of how it's been.

counting down

Sweet November! I love it! All the nastiness of halloween is over and the preperation for Christmas can begin. Today also began the official countdown to Sadie's 1st birthday(nov.10)! Yikes! Where did the time go? Look at that baby! I remember the day she was born like it was yesterday. Party plans are in the works and my heart is aching a little, not quite ready for her to grow up.
