This morning I allowed Sadie to feed herself her own oatmeal.

It was fun. For her. I cried a little over my pretty bowl. And then I stripped her down for a bath. Anyway, oatmeal baths are good for your skin, right?

making tortillas

Heidi came over today and we made tortillas! It was fun and even went pretty fast. I am guessing we made around 200 or so. Of course we had tacos tonight for dinner. Yum.

I hope I can get some of the same sweetness from the other two in the next few days. She is way too cute, don't you think?

My baby learned how to stand! She is quite proud.

Today is the last day of 2008. We actually have plans to go to a friends place to ring in the new year, in a very relaxed, low-key, taking the kids sort of way. But I really wouldn't want it any other way. Oh, and we are also bringing tin foil hats, more on that later. I am trying to get excited and also get some food ready to bring. I've been a bit ill the last 24 hours, so it's slow going. Happy New Year all.
